My hour in the garden this morning gave me sunshine and joy.
The Forsythia is out in full bloom this morning but the weather
was very hazy. New shoots and buds on the roses give me a
sense of inpatient's. Nature will teach you otherwise (be in
the moment), mindfulness. Stop for a moment breathe, listen
and enjoy.
As I walked down the garden path and the haze was burnt off
by the sun, a scent of nostalgia hit. Something I forget every
year until I inhale the scent, Wallflowers. Those twigs you plant
in the Autumn that look so unassuming. Jewel like colour of
amber and gold but this year there is a new one a deep rich
velvety red and the scent is glorious.
